As Ramadan’s month-long fast instills a special appreciation for the gift of food, participants in this multicultural iftar will be collecting cans of food to assist those going hungry.

Students and adults from across Boston will gather to enjoy cuisine by Cafeteria Boston and local caterers from West Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East along with a backdrop of international music. The iftar will also feature informal professional networking with members of the American Islamic Congress’ New England Council who work in medicine, law, finance, academia, hi-tech, and the arts.
