Ayal Tsubery's Group

Led by electric bassist Ayal Tsubery, this group is a sextet that has been playing together for the past year. During that time they've been mixing up Middle Eastern and Latin rhythms and melodies with modern jazz, compositional approaches, and an electric/acoustic setup that results in a sophisticated, yet accessible and hard grooving instrumental music that leaves enough room for improvisation and exciting tension between the players.
