Ambience: A

The ambience of Habibi’s Lounge is as close to classical Arabia as possible and it’s right here in Boston! With their comfortable hand made benches, they fit large to small groups of friends comfortably around each other. The decor is pleasant and uncluttered with a few traditional decorations surrounding the lounge. The lighting is dim yet not to bright, with a lot of darker accents. What also makes Habibi’s a classic lounge is the variety of Arabic music and a few “tawle” (backgammon) board games if you wish to play.

Hookah/Sheesha: A+

By far the best sheesha in Boston! Habibi’s offers the typical range of sheesha flavors as well as exotic blends, not to mention a variety of brand names. I personally suggest their “Gold Label” sheesha. Their staff is also very attentive, constantly walking around making sure that coals are replaced. Ventilation is also very good.

Food/Spirits: A

Habibi’s Lounge is alcohol free but they do offer a variety of drinks and I recommend their mint tea, its perfect after a big meal. Their mezze (appetizers) are delicious and portions quite generous as I was humbly surprised that they were prepared by the owner’s mother. The stuffed grape leaves were excellent, as was the hummus. They also offer a variety of imported Arabic sweets, nuts and even dried dates; a very traditional snack.

Finally a place with an arabic setting!So, Habibi's has a wonderful amosphere...great seating (arabic style), great arabic music and off course one of the best hookah's!(alot of good flavours). I must not forget to mention the great mint tea, in addittion to the options of jallab & toot drinks which are not available everywhere.
If you feel like snacking while smoking a hookah this is the place to do that (not a wide variety but very reasonable)...again the options are middleeastern food rather than american.
Finally, I must mention that the service provided by the owners is just great. A must try!

they have it all...the atmosphere, the dim lights and the soft and comfortable seating. i forget where i am when i am there.
They have good food too...i recommend it to everyone , once you go there you wont enjoy anywhere else
good to know that they are less pricey than the other places around.
